The Leelanau School was founded in 1929 by Skipper and Cora Beals. The school accepts students from grades 9 through
12, most of whom are boarding students and is located on the shores of Lake Michigan in beautiful Glen Arbor, Michigan.
An overall update and "face lift" for the school were approved in 2009. Howard Vogel was hired to
oversee the project. The creative use of re-claimed and natural materials for much of the project has resulted
a highly successful project both aesthetically and financially. Click
